Over the last 50 years, women’s levels of a very essential omega-3-fatty acid known as DHA have fallen by 50%. The richest sources of DHA in the food supply are wild salmon and other fatty fish, such as sardines, as well as organ meats and egg yolks. Ground flaxseed and macadamia nuts are also excellent sources.
